I’d like to invite everyone out to Westroads Liquors in the Murdale Shopping Center in Carbondale this Thursday evening from 4:30 – 7:00pm for a craft beer tasting event. This time around we’ll be featuring a stellar craft brewery out of Michigan – Founders Brewing Company.
Most craft beer aficionados will already be familiar with Founders – a brewery that is considered by many to be one of the very best in the US. We’ll be pouring Founders’ year-round favorites such as Dirty Bastard, Dry-Hopped Pale Ale, Centennial IPA, Red’s Rye PA and Porter. You might just see an appearance by one of Founders’ superlative specialty releases as well, like Curmudgeon – an oak-aged old ale that weighs in at 9.8% ABV.
This tasting ought to get craft beer-lovers geared up for the very highly anticipated, and very limited, release of one of the undisputed holy grails of beer – Founders KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stout), which is scheduled to be released in March! Until then, however, you won’t go wrong with any – and I mean any – Founders beer!
I hope to see everyone at Westroads this Thursday! Cheers!
